Rainbow Lorikeet

It wouldn't be North Queensland without our crazy, gregarious and very noisy friends the Rainbow Lorikeets. They are everywhere!

During the days the flowering trees are full of them and in the evenings it's hard to hear anything else but the noisy squawking of hundreds of them jockeying for position in a favourite tree.
