Cold Distant Sun

A flight of fancy. I took some photos of the sunset from the promontory at Shelley Beach, on the northern side of Townsville, and was playing around with the post processing when it occurred to me how lonely it looked.

So I put a twist on it and, in this version, cast it as a lonely sunset on a planet illuminated by a distant star only close enough to keep water liquid but offering little warmth.
