The Boxer

I titled this photo this way because this little Brushtail Rock Wallaby seemed to want to take me on as an invader into its territory.

These little Wallabies make an unlikely home in the hot, barren and harsh stony wall of the Ross River Dam near Townsville.

During the day you find them either defending their lairs in the large boulders, or foraging in the nearby bushland.
